Of half German, half Turkish heritage, Robert was born in Berlin during the last days of the Cold War.
After a successful career as an art director in the music and advertising industry, in 2010 he became the creative director of renowned online platform Highsnobiety, developing and managing their acclaimed print extension over the next four years.
